Padre Island became a memorable place for me when I was growing up. For my birthday each year, my dad would bring us to the beach for an extended vacation. The island was quite different back then as there was only one condominium.

After marrying my high-school sweetheart and moving around the country with the US Coast Guard for 23 years, my heart missed the beach. Not just any beach — our beach on Padre Island! The beach you can still drive on and experience true island life.

Upon retiring from the military we came home, my husband and I now live 50 minutes away from this special place. Although we are close, sometimes it still feels we are too far from the quiet of the beach. There’s nothing like the sea breeze blowing through your hair and sand between your toes. That’s beach life!

My husband, Curt, and I are sole owners of our three beach properties. We have maintained a Premiur Partner status with Vrbo/HomeAway for being amazing hosts to our incredible guests and have kept a 4.8 star rating. By being owners and hosts, if you book with us — you get us. No middle management to go through.

What do we do in our down time? We are blessed that our three children and their families live in Corpus Christi. We love family gatherings — we’re loud, crazy, and we love fun! Aside from enjoying time with our family,  Curt and I fill our time with real-estate investments, traveling the world, and making memories that last.
